Fly ends are stitched with four rows of lockstitching and backstitched for extra reinforcement against wear. Stars are embroidered on 2' x 3' through 12' x 18', stripes are lock stitched, heavy polyester heading with brass grommets are used on flags up to 6' x 10 ' size. Larger flags are finished with rope through canvas heading and have galvanized thimbles to protect rope ends. Woven of two-ply polyester yarn that combines strength of polyester with additional richness of color.
